Fine Art Painter
Autumnal bursts of color signal rest is near. As the air grows cold, nature slows down, rests then sleeps.
Nature’s cues lead us in unexpected ways…
This piece was created in watercolor, acrylic and charcoal on paper.
Transfomation - Featured Painting
I am an artist based in New York, working primarily in acrylic/mixed media as well as watercolor. I enjoy creating both realistic and abstract pieces. The defining features found in my work are bold colors and texture.
When using acrylic, I love to work in layers, adding texture, marks, collage and lots of color. My favorite tool are my fingers!
I do love the luminosity of watercolor – and I love letting the water do the painting! There are inherent features of watercolor that are so delicate and lovely. On occasion, I do pair watercolor with acrylic, oil pastel and charcoal.
I believe art is a soulful expression of the artist that conveys a heartfelt message to the viewer and touches their soul.
I’d like to think my art is an expression of the beauty I see around me. I am intrigued by landscapes, and sunsets in particular!
